Create a Microsoft 365 trial

If you already have an existing Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) tenant, then you can skip this step and move on to step 2.

Go to the Microsoft 365 Business Premium – signup, and follow the on screen prompts.

Purchase a Power Apps trial license

If you already have one or more existing Power Apps per app plan, Power Apps per user plan, or Dynamics 365 license(s), and they can be assigned for use with the HSE app, then you can skip this step and move on to step 3.

Go to your existing Microsoft 365 Admin Center .

Then, expand the Billing section, and then do the following steps: –

  1. Select “Purchase services”.
  2. In the main pane, scroll down to the “Business apps” category.
  3. Find the “Power Apps per user plan”, and then click on “Details”.
  4. Click on the Start free trial link.
  5. Click on the Start free trial link.
  6. Click on the Continue button.

Once your trial license has been provisioned: –

  1. Click on Users
  2. Click on Active users
  3. Select a User by clicking on their name in the list displayed.
  4. Select the Licenses and Apps tab.

Create a new Power Platform environment

If you already have an existing Power Platform environment with an accompanying Power Apps Dataverse (formerly CDS) database, then you can skip this step and move on to step 4.

  1. Click on the + New
  2. Enter a Name for your environment.
  3. Set the Type to Trial (subscription-based), or Sandbox, depending upon your requirement.
  4. Ensure that you set Create a database for this environment? to Yes
  5. Click on the Next
  6. Select your default language.At the time of writing ECLEVA HSE is only available in English.
  7. Select your required currency.
  8. Click on the Save button.
    Your new environment will be created and appear in the list of Ennvironments.
Notes

·         A unique domain name will automatically be generated for you, however, you can create a custom domain name by clicking in the hyperlink in the URL section of the Add Database pane.

Add the HSE app to your environment

  1. Go to Microsoft AppSource – destination for business apps
  2. Sign in to AppSource using your work, school, or Microsoft account.
  3. Enter ECLEVA HSE in the search box, and then press the enter key on your keyboard.
  4. Click on the Get it now
  5. Enter and confirm your information.
  6. Accept the Microsoft permission by selecting the checkbox.
  7. Then click on the Continue
  8. In the fly out pane, select your target installation environment.
  9. Accept the Microsoft Legal Terms and Privacy Statement by selecting the checkboxes.
  10. Then click on the Install button.
  11. The process will take some time to complet the install of the ECLEVA HSE app in your tartget environment, refresh the page to review the progress.
  12. The status of the app installation will change to Installed when the process has completed.
  13. Return to the target environment summary by clicking on the environment name.
  14. Click on the target environment URL,
    or
    Click on the Open environment button, to be presented with a tile view of all the apps available.

    Notes

    ·         Make a note of the Environment URL so that you can bookmark this later.

  15. Then click on the ECLEVA HSE tile to open and start using the app.

    Once the app opens in your default browser, the user documentation is available by clicking on the “?” toward the top right corner of the opened browser page.
